OUR PROCESS

initial meeting

LET'S CHAT!! After filling out the contact form on my website, we will set up a complimentary consultation call and chat over the phone! This is such an exciting time as we will discuss all the specifics such as what a wedding day looks like with GMP as well as the booking process. This is the perfect opportunity for you to share with me your wedding day vision and ask any questions that you may have.

Once you've signed the contract and I have received the 30% retainer fee to hold your date, you are officially booked! YAY! You're a GMP bride!!

PLANNING + CONSULTATIONS

This is where we will talk more about the details such as planning your engagement session, answering the custom questionnaire, and creating your custom wedding day timeline.

ENGAGEMENT SESSION

This is one of my favorite parts. I love spending this time together capturing the love you and your fiancé share. Being in front of the camera can be scary, so don't worry I will be coaching you both throughout the shoot and yes, I will tell you what to do with your hands! I pose each of you throughout the entire session so that you are never left feeling awkward and not knowing what to do. This is a time for us to get to know each other before the wedding day and get comfortable in front of the camera!

YOUR WEDDING

Today's the big day! The day we have ALL been patiently waiting for! Today is a day all about you and your love, and I want it to go as smoothly as possible. I want you to truly enjoy every part of your day! I am here to fluff your dress, carry your bouquet, and most of all capture and preserve your best memories.

Gallery Delivery

Your wedding gallery is delivered to you through an online platform and will come straight to your email inbox. Your sneak peak album will be delivered to you within 1 week of your wedding day and your FULL wedding gallery will be delivered to you through an online digital gallery within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day. Don't forget to check your mailbox as well, that is where you will find your USB & Print Boxes or Wedding Album.

Frequently asked questions

do you travel?

Yes! I love to travel. I do require a travel fee for locations further than 60 miles of Birmingham, AL.

Do we have to use the complimentary engagement session?

It is highly encouraged to take advantage of your complimentary engagement session so that we can get to know each other and get you both comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding.

When will I receive my gallery?

Wedding galleries are delivered within 6-8 weeks and Lifestyle + Portrait galleries are delivered within 2-3 weeks.

How will I receive my images?

Your photos will be delivered to you through an online gallery. A link to your gallery will be sent to you through email and text. With this link you can view, download, and order your images directly from the website provided.

What should we wear to our engagement session?

I am SO glad that you asked!! Outfits are sooooo important and can make or break your photo session. I have created a style guide just for you that will be sent to you as soon as you book your session to help with the outfit choosing process. Some of my favorite places to shop for outfits are VICI Collection, Baltic Born, Morning Lavender, Lulu's, ASOS, and Red Dress Boutique.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You are not required to order prints through the Pixieset website, but without the written consent of Gabbie Messer Photography.

Are printed images included in the price of my package?

Certain collections do include personalized USB and print boxes with printed images. If this is not included in your collection, you may choose to add this option on for an additional charge. You will also have the option to order prints directly from the website in which your gallery is delivered.

How do I reserve you for my date?

Once you have made the decision about booking with me, a signed contract and 30% retainer is required to reserve your date. This retainer fee is non-refundable in the event of a reschedule or cancellation.
